Laila El Shentenawi is an attorney at law in Egypt (2004) and a legal advisor at the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration-CRCICA (2008). She practices mainly in the areas of international commercial arbitration and business laws.

Laila is one of the Founders of the CRCICA’s Young Arbitration Practitioners Forum-YAPF (2008).

The London Court of International Arbitration-LCIA elected her, in the year 2006, to be the Middle East Regional Representative for their Young International Arbitration Group-YIAG, for a period of three years.

Laila is also a member of several associations and groups including the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce-Arbitration Association for Young Lawyers (2008) the Arbitral Women Group (2008), LCIA-YIAG (2005) and the Egyptian Corporate Lawyers Association (2005).

Laila holds an LLB degree from Cairo University, English department (2004), a certificate in International Commercial Arbitration from the Queen Mary University of London (2005) and a master degree in both Law and Business from Bucerius Law School and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany (2007).
